Cancellation Policy

Booking Requests All bookings are tentative until Balakatoon Company receives the signed agreement and the required a % deposit of total amount. A booking is not considered finalized until you receive a confirmation email explicitly stating that the agreement has been signed, the deposit has been received, and the reservation process is completed. Liability Waiver Client understands that children’s activities involve inherent risks (including slips, falls, and contact with materials). Client assumes all responsibility for supervision and agrees to hold harmless Balakatoon Company and its performers from claims arising from participation, except in cases of proven gross negligence. Safety We provide an entertainment service. Parents or legal guardians are responsible for the safety and supervision of their child and all children attending our performance. A parent or responsible adult must be present at all times during the performance. We may request assistance to help enforce safety guidelines or rules as needed. Equipment & Property Client is responsible for supervising children around equipment and materials. Any damage to our equipment caused by attendees may be charged to the client. Workspace & Safe Area Client agrees to provide a safe, clean, well-lit area suitable for the selected service(s). A clear “no-crowding” zone around the performer’s setup is required. If the area is not safe or workable, the performer may pause, relocate, or modify the service. Photo & Video Permission Photos and/or videos may be taken during the event for Balakatoon Company's website, portfolio, social media and marketing purposes only. If you do NOT authorize photos or video recordings, you must notify Balakatoon Company in writing by email at least 24 hours prior to the event, and you must also clearly inform the performers) in person on the day of the event. Failure to provide notice through both channels will be considered authorization. Health & Hygiene For everyone’s safety, please do not allow children who are sick (fever, vomiting, contagious symptoms) to participate. The performer may decline service to anyone who appears ill or whose participation may pose a health risk. Behavior Policy We reserve the right to pause or end services if any participant’s behavior becomes unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate, or if the performer is harassed or threatened. In such cases, no refund will be provided.
